BRIDGEWATER -- A 10-year-old Bridgewater boy will deliver Saturday's weather forecast on a Pittsburgh TV station.

Robbie Liggett will appear live on WTAE-TV's morning news broadcast, as winner of the station's "Weather Watch 4 Weather Kid Contest."

Liggett, a fourth-grader at the Pennsylvania Cyber Charter School, beat out 19 other kids who auditioned on camera in WTAE's studios. He now gets to deliver the forecast, joined by the station's chief meteorologist, Mike Harvey, in a remote broadcast from the King's Family Restaurant on Neville Island.

According to his mother, Marcia, being a weatherman is one of the dreams of Liggett, who has been in business since the age of 8 as operator of Robbie’s Remarkable Photography, specializing in customized picture key chains.

He's following in the entrepreneurial footsteps of his sister Amber Liggett, CEO of Amber’s Amazing Animal Balloons, which was featured this year in an episode of PBS' "Biz Kid$."
