Jennifer Vanucci recognized as July 2014 Teacher of the Month
Jul 31, 2014
This month's Teacher of the Month recognition goes to Jennifer Vanucci, an eight-year PA Cyber staff member and Special Education Life Skills teacher. She earned her undergraduate degree from Slippery Rock University in 2004 and obtained her Master of Science degree in special education from Carlow University in 2012.
Why did you choose to work at PA Cyber?
I chose to work at PA Cyber because I loved the second chance it provided for students who felt that they had run into a brick wall with their home school districts.
The best part of the job is:
The students I work with! I have been a part of the Life Skills program for the past two years and I am amazed by my students each day. They demonstrate passion and excitement for learning and are so encouraging toward each other.
One thing your students may not know about you:
I am a horrible driver. Stay off the road if you see me coming!
