Testing & Assessment
The Pennsylvania System of School Assessment (PSSA) is a standardized test used to measure a student's attainment of the state's academic standards in Reading, Writing, and Mathematics, and to assist schools in identifying the strengths and weaknesses of their academic programs.
Every Pennsylvania student in grades 5, 8, and 11 will be tested in Writing. Students in grades 3-8 and grade 11 are assessed in Math and Reading. Beginning in 2007 school year, students in grades 4, 8 and 11 will be assessed in Science.
PA Cyber may administer placement tests to assist in program assignment.
