Henry Mancini Arts Academy
PA Cyber has a special program blossoming through our partnership with the Henry Mancini Arts Academy. Some of the benefits from this partnership include professional artists as instructors and opportunities for real-life experiences in the arts. Students will be able to experience, explore, enjoy and study the arts through workshops, classes and other special presentation in music, theater, dance, creative writing and the visual arts.
About the Henry Mancini Arts Academy
The Henry Mancini Arts Academy makes high quality training in the arts available, accessible, and affordable in a safe, supportive, and professional atmosphere for students at every level of interest, experience, and ability. The Mancini Academy is assembling a world-class team of teaching artists to serve the arts education needs of traditional public schools, public charter schools, colleges and universities, and community programs.
The Mancini Academy's aim is to provide an environment in which students blossom personally as well as artistically. Their approach emphasizes process over product, meaning that helping students to discover their own unique potential through high-quality training in the arts takes precedence over showcasing individual skills. For this reason, the Mancini Academy does not hold an annual recital, but provides regular opportunities for parents to view classes, including Open Studio days that allow students, instructors, and parents to share the excitement of the training process.
The Henry Mancini Arts Academy is a program of the Lincoln Park Performing Arts Center. The Mancini Academy makes full use of the Lincoln Park Performing Arts Center's facility, which features state-of-the art performance, rehearsal, video production, recording studio, and classroom space.
