Testing and Assessment

The testing and assessment standards established for traditional public schools are the exact same standards required of PA Cyber students.

The Pennsylvania System of School Assessment (PSSA) is a standardized test used to measure a student's attainment of state academic standards in Reading, Writing, Mathematics, and Science.  It is also used to assist schools in identifying the strengths and weaknesses of their academic programs.

All Pennsylvania students in grades 5, 8, and 11 are tested in Writing. Students in grades 3-8 and grade 11 are assessed in Math and Reading. Students in grades 4, 8, and 11 are assessed in Science.

The PA Cyber Charter School may administer placement tests to assist in program assignment.
